DearPolar - Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the mobile game DearPolar (the "Service") provided by Studio D. By installing or using the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Please read them carefully.

1. Agreement to Terms

You may use the Service only if you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please cease using the Service.

2. Eligibility

The Service is intended for users of all ages. However, if you are under the legal age of majority in your country of residence, you must obtain the consent of a parent or legal guardian, and you must comply with the relevant laws. Please note that we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the minimum age defined by local laws (e.g., under 13 in the United States, under 14 in the Republic of Korea).

3. License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial purposes, conditional upon your compliance with these Terms.

4. User Obligations and Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to do any of the following:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations.

  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service.

  • Use hacks, bots, cheats, or any automation software.

  • Exploit bugs or any unintended features of the Service.

  • Distribute viruses or other malicious code.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, images, software, and other materials included in the Service are the property of us or our licensors and may not be copied, modified, or distributed without our prior written consent.

6. Paid Products and Virtual Items

DearPolar may offer certain features, such as "Remove Ads," through in-app purchases. In principle, all purchases are non-refundable. However, refunds may be granted if required by applicable law or by the policies of the relevant platform (e.g., Google Play, App Store).

7. Advertisements

The Service may display third-party advertisements from providers such as Unity Ads and AdMob. Personalized ads may be shown using device identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID). Users can withdraw consent for personalized ads at any time through the in-app settings or device settings. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of these advertisements.

8. Suspension and Termination

We may limit or terminate your access to the Service without prior notice if we determine that you have violated these Terms or if it is otherwise necessary for the operation of the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted, and we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service (except for liability that cannot be excluded by law).

10. Changes to the Terms

We may change these Terms, and any changes will be announced within the app or on our official website. Your continued use of the Service after such changes will constitute your acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be resolved by the courts of the Republic of Korea.

본 약관은 Studio D가 제공하는 모바일 게임 DearPolar에 대한 이용조건을 규정합니다. 서비스를 설치하거나 사용하는 경우 본 약관과 개인정보처리방침에 동의하는 것으로 간주됩니다. 반드시 주의 깊게 읽어주시기 바랍니다.

1. 약관의 동의

이용자는 본 약관 및 개인정보처리방침에 동의함으로써 서비스를 사용할 수 있습니다. 동의하지 않는 경우, 서비스 이용을 중단하시기 바랍니다.

2. 이용 자격

본 서비스는 모든 연령의 이용자가 사용할 수 있습니다. 다만, 거주 국가에서 성년에 해당하지 않는 경우에는 부모 또는 법정 대리인의 동의가 필요하며, 해당 법령을 따라야 합니다. 또한 당사는 각 국가의 법령에서 정한 최소 연령 미만의 아동(예: 미국 만 13세 미만, 대한민국 만 14세 미만)으로부터 개인정보를 의도적으로 수집하지 않습니다.

3. 라이선스 부여

당사는 이용자에게 본 서비스를 비상업적, 개인적 목적으로 사용할 수 있는 제한적이며 비독점적이고 양도 불가능한 사용권을 부여합니다. 단, 본 약관을 준수해야 합니다.

4. 이용자의 의무 및 금지행위

이용자는 다음 행위를 해서는 안 됩니다:

  • 관련 법령 위반

  • 서비스의 리버스 엔지니어링, 디컴파일 시도

  • 해킹, 봇, 자동화 소프트웨어 등의 사용

  • 버그 또는 의도하지 않은 기능의 악용

  • 바이러스 또는 악성 코드 유포

5. 지적재산권

서비스에 포함된 모든 콘텐츠, 이미지, 소프트웨어 등은 당사 또는 그 라이선스 제공자의 자산이며, 사전 서면 동의 없이 복제, 변경, 배포할 수 없습니다.

6. 유료 상품 및 가상 아이템

DearPolar는 광고 제거 등 일부 기능을 인앱 구매를 통해 제공할 수 있습니다. 구매는 원칙적으로 환불되지 않습니다. 다만, 관련 법령이나 플랫폼(Google Play, App Store)의 정책에 따라 환불이 요구되는 경우에는 예외가 적용될 수 있습니다.

7. 광고 노출

서비스 내에는 Unity Ads, AdMob 등의 제3자 광고가 표시될 수 있습니다. 맞춤형 광고 제공을 위해 기기 식별자(예: 광고 ID)가 사용될 수 있으며, 이용자는 앱 설정 또는 기기 설정을 통해 언제든 맞춤형 광고 동의를 철회할 수 있습니다. 당사는 광고의 내용, 정확성, 이용 가능성 등에 대해 책임지지 않습니다.

8. 서비스 이용 중지 및 해지

당사는 이용자가 본 약관을 위반하거나 기타 서비스 운영상 필요하다고 판단되는 경우, 사전 통보 없이 서비스 이용을 제한하거나 종료할 수 있습니다.

9. 책임의 제한

서비스는 “있는 그대로” 제공됩니다. 당사는 서비스의 오류 또는 중단이 없음을 보장하지 않으며, 서비스 이용으로 인한 간접적·우발적 손해에 대해 책임을 지지 않습니다. (단, 법률상 제외 불가능한 책임은 제외)

10. 약관의 변경

당사는 약관을 변경할 수 있으며, 변경사항은 앱 내 또는 공식 홈페이지에 공지됩니다. 변경 이후에도 서비스를 계속 사용할 경우, 변경된 약관에 동의한 것으로 간주됩니다.

11. 준거법 및 관할

본 약관은 대한민국 법률에 따라 해석되고 집행됩니다. 분쟁 발생 시 관할 법원은 대한민국 법원이 됩니다.
